I have received many questions about food and diets, how to lose fat and how to lose weight fast and healthy. I understand that everyone is different but observing many fat loss diets that have been most effective, I found some common requirements when combined in our life helps us to get results.

The most important thing is your decisions and what you want to do and not by your subconscious. Take control of your life today and start losing fat. How to create a diet to help you lose fat:

Know what to eat. Make a list you know you can eat, a list of foods you want to remove, and a list of new foods that you add to your diet. Like it or not, this is your shopping list and eliminate everything you don't need to buy. No matter if you like your children, spouse, friends or relatives who live with you. What to eat?

Get your natural full meals or at least 89% natural. Not everyone has access to 100% natural foods but with a little effort and making the right decisions can have food at home may not 100% natural but close to 100%.

1- Foods such as meat are good and 98% lean as chicken, beef, lamb or pork. Or raw vegetables are good too frozen, whole grains such as rice (100% whole grain), pasta (100% whole grain) bread (100% whole grain), and oats (100% whole grain).

2- Chicken Breast, Mushrooms, and Vegetables contain 300 calories approx. With many nutrients.

3- Green tea contains antioxidants black and unlike coffee. Personally I like coffee and that's what I like but I take tea in the afternoon or at night to avoid coffee with milk and sugar.

4- The nuts (no salt or sugar) contain healthy fats, protein and Omega 3, which makes them one of the most powerful foods.

Nuts are recommended for lowering cholesterol, high blood pressure and body fat. The best thing about nuts is that if you combine it with fruit, have a full meal with all the necessary nutrients that help fat loss.

Fruits contain a very large variety of nutrients that increase your metabolism and help your body lose fat. These are vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and fiber.

5- Variety of blackberries, cherries and raspberries for Antioxidants

Why fruits?

In addition to nutrients, you can have fruit at any time. Take an apple at all times because you never know when you'll get hungry. A pear, apple, blackberry (berries), cherries (strawberries) or raspberries can be taken in a plastic bag in your wallet, bag, lunchbox, "cooler" or wherever you might have at all times.

Whey protein is everywhere. Last night I was at the Whole Food supermarket in Allan, Texas and they have a wide variety on whey protein products. In this post I want to explain what is whey, but also how it can help you lose weight.

Whey protein is created as a by-product of cheese production from cow's milk. It has shown in test trials anti-inflammatory or anti- cancer properties, but this is only preliminary data. There are many whey products out these so what difference? First, all whey is not created equal. Another very important point is to ensure that the whey protein is not denatured. The denatured protein occurs with high heat of temperatures above 72 c associated with pasteurization. The problem with this is the denaturing trippers whey to interacts with other proteins forming a gel and can cause allergies in some people. Wow what a question, how to increase metabolism. In order to lose weight we have to speed up the metabolism in our body. A quick dictionary definition of what metabolism does is that it burns what we eat to cause our body to have energy and get rid of the waste that we don't need.

I got a news update from WDDTY, earlier today (which I'll get on to shortly) that intrigued me because it suggested evidence for what I've suspected for a very long time - that it's what you eat that matters, not how much of it. But as I was tracking down more details I came across something quite amazing - there is a place (I'm tempted to call it a restaurant, but I think that might be a little extravagant) in Las Vegas called the Heart Attack Grill. Now I know this shouldn't surprise me, but I'm English, so it does.

I know it's fun, but obesity is also Life & Death and this place seems to be taking over-eating to ridiculous heights. Mind you there are two hospitals just a short distance away!

They sell a 2lb, 8000 calorie Quadruple byPass Burger (4 burgers & Cheese on a bun with an optional extra 20 slices of bacon).

Their menu makes a sales point of the fact that the 'flatliner fries' are 'deep fried in Pure Lard' and their commercial tells you the side affects from eating there. These 'may include sudden weight gain, repeated increase of wardrobe size, back pain, male breast growth, loss of sexual partners, lung cancer, tooth decay and liver sclerosis stroke. In some cases mild death may occur.'

But what got this place into the news was that a man had a heart attack while eating a 6000 calorie Triple byPass Burger. Mind you it got them a ton of free publicity and that's never bad for business.

Anyway, that was a little digression - back to the calories that are different sizes.

What I started exploring was the research into the obesity states of Americanised Mexicans. It seems that the University of South Carolina has been looking at Mexicans in America. Apparently first generation Mexicans living in the US tend to stick to their traditional diet which consists of corn, beans, pork, fish, and a variety of fruits & vegetables such as pineapple, papaya, squash and avocado. Their children, however, consume diets high in saturated fats and sodium as well as large quantities of sweetened beverages.

It seems that second generation Mexican-Americans are two and a half times more likely to become obese than first generation Mexican-American relatives. There is no suggestion that more food is being consumed - just that what the diet consists of is fat and salt loaded fast food, rather than fresh meat, fruit and vegetables.

I can certainly confirm from my own experiences of losing weight that I don't really eat less. I just eat different and the weight slowly and steadily drops away for as long as I maintain a healthy diet. According to many large scale studies conducted in different parts of the world (including Japan, Australia, Italy and the U.S.), people sleep less will have higher probability of being obese.

This relationship was revealed in 18 studies with total sample size of 604,509 adults sleeping less than 5 hours. There was also a dose effect of sleep duration: for each additional hour of sleep, people's BMI would decrease by 0.35 kg/m2. (Body mass index (BMI) is a simple index of weight-for-height that is commonly used in classifying obesity and overweight. It is defined as the weight in kilograms divided by the square of the height in meters (kg/m2). The World Health Organization defines "overweight" as a BMI value equal to or more than 25, while for "obesity", the value is 30.)

For example, in Japan, a study of 35,247 workers over 1 year found that short sleep duration (having 6 hours or less) was associated with an increased risk of obesity in men.

Similar findings were observed in the American and Australian studies (with sample size of 56,507 and 45,325 adults respectively). In Italy, a 6-year study of 1,597 male and female adults shows that every additional hour of sleep would decrease the incidence of obesity by 30 per cent.

In fact, this phenomenon is the result of metabolic dysfunction due to short sleep duration involving hormones ghrelin and leptin.

Ghrelin is a hormone which promotes hunger and stimulates gastric emptying. But its amount increases with sleep restriction. Thus you will eat more when you sleep less. Additionally, it suppresses fat utilization in adipose tissue, Overall, ghrelin is one of several hormonal signals that communicates the state of energy balance in the body to the brain.

On the other hand, another hormone, leptin, contributes to satiety perception, decreases with short sleep duration. Thus the result is the same: you want to eat more when you sleep less.

In addition, less sleep could affect energy balance by decreasing energy expenditure. Leptin has a central role in fat metabolism, as a signal to the brain that there is fat on the body. And so it increases energy expenditure. With less amount of leptin because of sleep less, energy expenditure would decrease.

Thus decrease in the amount of leptin after sleep deprivation would increase caloric intake while at the same time, decreases energy expenditure.

Excessive food intake associated with insufficient sleep may be a mechanism for increased obesity risk.

Being overweight or obese is one of the main risk factors for obstructive sleep apnea (OSA, a condition in which the flow of air pauses or decreases during breathing while asleep). But people suffering from more severe OSA in turn are more likely to gain more weight. The effects of OSA itself may predispose people to weight gain.

Stretching

Touch the floor - For this exercise, remain seated in your chair and plant your feet in a wide and stable position. Now raise your arms straight up above your head, stretching them as far as you can, with your palms facing each other. Now keeping your lower body fixed and your torso stretched, slowly lunge forward and touch the floor in front of you, breathing steadily all the time. Remain there for 2-5 seconds and come back up with control. Repeat this 5 times.

Stretch your sides - Stretch your arms up with your palms facing the sky and your fingers locked in each other. Now bend slightly to one side, come back to the center and then bend to the other side. Do this 5 times each side.

Muscle Toning

While stretching prepares your body for action, it is the cardiovascular and muscle toning exercises that will really speed up your weight loss. There are several muscle toning exercises that you can do at your desk.

Chair Dips - This exercise is great for your upper body. To do this, make sure your chair is stable. Now grip the edges of your chair and move forward off your chair, remaining in the seated position, till your arms are straight. Now lower your body a few inches, bending your elbows as you do so. Hold the position and then pull yourself up till your arms are straight again. Repeat this exercise 8-10 times.

Chair Squats - For your core muscles and lower body, 'chair squats' is one of the easiest and most challenging exercises you can do. For this stand up in front of your chair, keeping your feet at shoulder width. Now lower your body till you feel your hips barely touch the chair. Hold this position for 2-5 seconds, and then raise your body up without gripping anything for support. Repeat this 8-10 times.

Cardiovascular Exercises

A cardiovascular exercise, even if it is done for 60 seconds at a time, will burn a chunk of calories and help you get slim. All you need is a little bit of space around your desk or an empty room. You could do jumping jacks for a minute or a vigorous on-the-spot run. The other alternatives could be a couple of rounds of stair climbing or a brisk walk around your office during your lunch hour.

If you remain consistent with these simple initiatives, you will soon begin to feel stronger and more energetic, while you shed off those excess calories. All in all, you will not find better weight loss tips to blend into your busy lifestyle.

If you're very overweight, many exercise methods may be just too much. You may even get so discouraged that you quit after just one attempt. That's no way to lose weight. Walking is a fantastic exercise because it is so simple and accessible. Anyone who can walk at all can begin a walking program to lose weight. In fact, if you have not been active in a long time, walking is the best activity to start with in order to build up strength and endurance for any other activity. The keys to weight loss from walking are intensity, duration, and consistency. Don't worry if you can't walk fast or for very long at first. Start slowly and work up to more strenuous walking as you can.

The best weight-burning intensity is 60 - 70% of your maximum heart rate. For the purpose of weight loss from walking, you can find your maximum heart rate by subtracting your age from 220. Thus, the maximum heart rate for a 50-year-old would be 170 beats per minute. Working at an intensity of 70%, the 50-year-old would lose weight by maintaining her heart rate at the target rate of 119 beats per minute.

If you don't have a heart rate monitor or have trouble counting heartbeats, estimate the intensity of your walk by talking. If you can't carry on a conversation, you're working too hard. Back off a bit until you can walk and talk comfortably at the same time.

To lose weight by walking, the duration of your workout should be at least 30 minutes. That's 30 minutes at your target heart rate, not counting warm-up. Of course you probably won't be able to do that at first, and that's okay. Just do as much as you can and increase as you get fitter.

Once you start your program, walking can help you lose weight only if you're consistent. Walk at least five days a week. Don't be distressed if it seems like it's not working. Slow weight loss while building fitness, as you're doing with your walking program, is better. The effects are cumulative, and over time you can lose a significant amount of weight.

Walking is great for weight loss because you can customize it for your needs. Start out your program with easy walking. When you're in better shape, increase the intensity. Try power walking when you're ready for more of a challenge. Depending on your fitness, you can walk and lose weight at all levels.

Studies have shown that high-intensity walking can burn five times as much belly fat as moderate walking. Ramp up your weight loss by walking with poles.
